New Hotel in Aomori City
Aomori is the capital city of Aomori Prefecture. The Nebuta Festival (August) is one of Japan's three major festivals and a huge event that attracts more than 1 million visitors from all over the country. The city boasts many tourist attractions, including the Aomori Prefectural Museum of Art, the Sannai-Maruyama Ruins (a Jomon period World Heritage Site), and Aomori Port, with Shin-Aomori Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen serving as its gateway. Hachinohe is a major city on the Pacific coast in southeastern Aomori Prefecture. Hachinohe Port is one of the leading fishing ports in Japan in terms of catch volume, and local specialties include the morning market (Tatenohana Wharf Morning Market and Minato Shokudo), Hachinohe Senbei-jiru (rice cracker soup), and Ichigo-ni (sea urchin and abalone soup). It also has good transportation access, as it is the terminal station of the Tohoku Shinkansen (Hachinohe Station).

Goshogawara is the central city of the northern part of the Tsugaru region. It is known for its spectacular Tachineputa Festival, in which giant floats exceeding 20 meters in height are paraded through the streets. New Hotel in Kuroishi
Located east of Hirosaki City, in the southern part of the Tsugaru Plain, this city is a popular tourist spot. The Nakamachi Komise Street, a designated Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, features komise (arcade-like snow-sheltering walkways). Kuroishi Onsenkyo and Aoni Onsen (famous as a lamp-lit inn) are also nearby, and the city serves as a base for visiting nearby ski resorts such as Kasamatsuyama Ski Resort and Sun Alpina Kazuno (Ikegaseki).

Hirosaki is the central city of the Tsugaru region, famous nationwide for the cherry blossoms at Hirosaki Castle (the largest number of Somei Yoshino cherry trees in Japan, approximately 2,600 trees). Tourist attractions include the Hirosaki Neputa Festival, Hirosaki Castle, Western-style buildings (Meiji-era architecture such as the former Hirosaki Municipal Library), and Hirosaki apples (Japan's largest apple producer). The Shirakami Mountains (a World Heritage Site) can be accessed in about an hour by car from downtown Hirosaki.
