New Hotel in Gifu City
Gifu is the capital of Gifu Prefecture. Its main tourist attractions include Gifu Castle, which stands atop Mount Kinka, and the cormorant fishing on the Nagara River (May to October). Hida Takayama is a tourist city in northern Gifu Prefecture, boasting the old townscape of Hida Takayama (Sanmachi, Shimoninomachi, and Daishinmachi) and the Okuhida Onsenkyo hot spring resort area (Shinhotaka, Fukuchi, Hirayu, Tochio, and Shinhirayu). It is particularly popular with inbound tourists and offers a wide variety of local cuisine, including Hida beef, Hoba miso, and Mitarashi dango. New Hotel in Gero City
This city in the southern part of the Hida region is home to Gero Onsen, one of Japan's three most famous hot springs. The hot spring town, with its rows of inns along the Hida River, and the fountain pool (a free, mixed-gender open-air bath where hot spring water naturally erupts in the river) are particularly popular spots among travelers as unique attractions within the hot spring town. New Hotel in Gujo City
Gujo Hachiman (a designated Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings) and Gujo Odori (one of Japan's three major Bon dances and a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property) are nationally renowned cities in central Gifu Prefecture.
